Starting to sink in?

Trust me, I realized a long time ago that I'm actually getting married to the love of my life, but after a wedding filled weekend of bridal shows and venue viewing followed by intensive planning, it's all really starting to sing in! I've started to do a few dry runs of our invites, and started to paint hundreds of tea lights (the cases they're in) black for the center pieces. I'm trying to get done as much as possible now. Kudos to Patty and Michelle, they are totally keeping me on track with this all. It's 10 months away, but they keep telling me that it's sooner than I realize..eep.

Chris is very....annoyed with the wedding planning. Don't let him tell you that he had no input, EVERY time I get an idea I run it by him and I'm lucky to get a grunt out of him! Ha! But I suppose that's the norm for men =). He can't complain about things he doesn't like if he doesn't help =).

My camera cord is at home, so no uploading pictures until next week, oh well=).

Work is going really well, I am so happy to finally feel secure in something, and to be fully appreciated for the work I do is a priceless feeling. It proves that the four months of rejection letters and tons and tons of job applications really did well. I think now that I am happier in where I work my over all quality of life is improved a ton, therefore, so has Christopher's =)!

All for now!!!

New Car!

Well the time came. I could have probably put a few hundred more into my old car, but I was advised to listen to my husband (husband to be really) and he said that it was proably a better idea to get a newer car. After searching through Albany dealerships (and there is quite a few) we ended up at Hertz and I got a 2006 Chevy Aveo.

I'm excited, a little nervous, it's a big bill to pay, but I can do it. I hope lol.

Cheers!

New Year's Eve

For New Year's we went to Robbie's and said hi to everyone, then we went off to Zach's where we watched Baby's Mama and played are you smarter than a 5th grader! It was pretty mellow, much more mellow than Patty's evening =)! The highlight of my night was when I saw Guss, Zach's boxer!!!

At first they were asleep but I didn't catch the pic in time!

What a stud =)

Happy birthday dad!

Dad had his birthday on the 31st! He turned the big 52! All of us were there and dad got to open some gifts!

I got him a couple of books on Warren Buffet. Jack + Patty + Michelle + Luke got him shotgun shells and he got a gift card from mom! What a day!!

Cheers to another year dad!
