We're not getting married on 11/14/09!

But don't worry, we're still getting hitched, and no we didn't change the date b/c I'm pregnant.

The new date is: 10/17/2009-so about a month early. We changed it for : weather-it'll be warmer and prettier, less chance of rain, plus Dick can still marry us and we won't feel bad about his prior engagements, AND...I get to be married a month earlier.

I originally wanted October, but Chris does squash in the fall, it was his idea to change it when I said I wasn't happy about the current arrangements and started looking something more cityish. So way to go Chris!

Luckily we only had to make 3 phone calls...still waiting back on the photographer, but I have a great back up plan for that. I will have to redo the top page of the invites...but I have a long time!

Copper Tree update!

Because of Michelle's more recent "sensitvie" state. Dad, Mom, and I thought it would be funny to tease her. The copper tree is her's. Although, let me tell you, the claws come out when the poor preggo kid doesn't get her way.

I think she knows I'm loved more. HA!

Plumber turned Artist!

I love my dad. He has to be one of the most well-rounded guys around! Not only does he work hard to provide for his family, but he has hobbies too! In the past couple of years he's been turned onto making trees out of copper. I came home tonight, and saw what he was making, I begged for it and he said he was making it for me!!! Just like my hope chest! See the pictures below!

It's not quite finished, but he said when I am home this weekend I can pick it up!! I am so excited

Here fishy, fishy, fishy.

Friday Chris and I went fishing for the first time this year since it was so nice. Some family members of his caught half a dozen or so, but we got none =(...lame.

I also caught a glimpse of some butt crack...but have been told it's not appropriate to post...apparently Christopher is sensitive about his bum.

I tried to teach the fish how to bite....still didn't work

Then...

Since I wore flip flops and Chris was to lazy to take the boat around the lake, we decided to go through some very shallow water. I was elected to pull the boat b/c somebody *Chris* was wearing his work boots....boo hoo. Please enjoy the picture story Chris took while I tried to pull the boat across land.

I was COLD and WET. I was grumpy

But we still love each other, which means we are growing more patient during our fishing trips!

Neckalce and earrings!

So I'm not real big into rhinestones, so my thoughts for wedding jewelery would be pearls. They always look nice, especially if my dress has lace on it.

BUT

Yesterday Kristi and I went to a hippie store in Corvallis and they had lots of cool jewelery. I found something that I really like, and I think it'd be sassy on the wedding day, especially if I wear red shoes.

Honest thoughts are appreciated.
