It has come to my attention that it's very possible that I am a little obsessed with money. The following reasons lead me and many others, that I meet with weekly to study, that I have a problem.
). I work at a bank and play with money all day.
). I critique people and what they spend money on all day, yet I have failed and failed again at any attempt to make any savings other than my retirement--which will do me no good if I am in a cash flow emergency!
). My chosen profession will be accounting, in which I will make sure that the dollar amounts of some business are in check, and quite possible manage where the money is spent.
). I have no shame in asking how much something cost, even to strangers.
). I have spent a total of 12 hours this week working on an income statement to balance to $13.00- I am balancing to $41.00--I have taken on dreams of this.
). I am always curious to how much money my boyfriend has...mainly for reasons to see if I can see a decline in a already small balance in hopes that he may have purchased a diamond for me.
). I think this is all okay though. I don't put money as something important in life. It just consumes my waking hours.
). Luckily, I don't need much to survive, just enough for lunch and gas:)
