Polishin' the terd.

Christopher's house needed some TLC before I move in officially in October. Last Saturday, since I was putting off going to the gym, I decided it was time to decorate. (For the record, I would have been WAY better off going to the gym!)

I went and got Chris' mom and we were off to the paint store. She was such a huge help tearing down wallpaper, and so was Chris' grandma! I finished Saturday at about 7, we were having friends at 8. I'm good with deadlines. Here's some before, during and after pictures!

And by the way...I advise folks to NEVER use wallpaper, ever.

Dutchers!

I've been such a bad blogger, so much has happened, no time to blog! Ack.

Jack came down with Dutch Sunday morning to try and introduce him to the water a little, Dutch did great! It took a little convincing the water wasn't bad, but when dad goes all in, so does your pup!

Father's Day!

Happy Father's day Dad, and to Byron too! Chris and I are lucky to have such amazing men in our lives! (Chris is showing his sensitive side...hehe.)

Apparently today I did a poor job of taking photos except on the way to and from mom and dad's. We told Lilly on the way up to Wilsonville about how much fun she was going to have playing with Dutch and Rucker. Here is how she felt:

"I like to be a little bossy, sometimes a little grumpy. I take after you mom. I want to control the other dogs and have them listen. All Rucker wants to do is play with his stinkin' tennis ball, and Dutch is fun and cute, I have a little crush, but he likes to paw and bark at me, and mom, I'm too mature for that. I'm a seasoned pup now" =)

She did pretty good with Dutch today! She growled some but she seems pretty tolerant of having a puppy pull and tug on her, those puppy teeth are sharp! Maybe after the wedding we'll have to make an addition to the family!

Chris immediately sat down at his computer. He went like 5 hours with out it! Good job hunny. He was a little mean, so he let me take a picture!

Kellie's oldest brother, Dave, is a cyclist and on the weekend of Kellie's birthday he came up to to ride a crit race and celebrate some birthday fun!

This is a picture I drew of Beau fishing a few days after we found out he died. Now...I don't claim to be an artist, but Laura thought this was actually something Beau made. He was a TERRIBLE artist. I was offended...but then again, look at it! Ha! It's been hanging on the Jacobson fridge ever since!

My little Honney Bee

My beautiful little niece is SO special to me. I fall more in love with her everytime I see her. Grandpa is trying to take over the shining favorite spot, but clearly, she loves me.
