Farm farm farm!

I love farming. I love grass seed farming as we can all tell from the photos from the tractors. BUT, I have a secret. More than I love grass seed farming, I love punkin farming.

Translation: Punkin=Pumpkin, Pumpkin=Squash (It's true, it's really squash seed, in fact it's called Golden Delicious!)

Step 1:
Wake up early anywhere betweeen 5-7am and go to the cannary! This is where I usually stay in the truck.


Step 2: Take bins full of seed and dump them into the truck.


Step 3: Come home and dump into big cement hole and wash down. CAREFUL not to clog becuase in the words of Chris, "Grandpa gets REALLY mad if you clog it, so don't!"

Step 4:
Break for a photo op


Step 5:
Chris does some starting of water and other stuff upstairs that I'm not quite sure on yet. Basically, I make funny faces and try to wash it down without clogging it >.<

Now it's not really in order so here is the rest of it =)

This is where the "bad seed" gets washed out to.



Chris then jumps in the skidstir? Maybe that's what it's called and dumps washed seed into the bucket


Then it goes on the dryers to dry
